About Us

     Allergy Air Purifiers was founded in 2005 by Rob, an entrepreneur from San Diego, California. At the time, Rob was operating a lucrative poker supply company, selling high-end clay poker chips to a large customer base of home gamers. Business was good and the company enjoyed steady growth, but the work felt somewhat stale and unrewarding. Rob valued the relationships he was forming with his growing client base but, at the end of the day, he longed for the kind of work that could help others and provide him with sense of purpose.

     Then, one day, Rob started doing research on air purifiers for his younger brother, Mark, who suffers from mild asthma and seasonal allergies. In the midst of this research, Rob learned a lot about the industry and realized he was having fun doing it! He was able to set Mark up with a HEPA filter system (as a birthday gift) which provided instant relief and still works beautifully to this day. Watching his kid brother able to breathe easier gave Rob a deep sense of satisfaction and he knew he’d found the key to a more fulfilling venture. A few months later, Allergy Air Purifiers was born.

     When he founded Allergy Air Purifiers, Rob set out on a mission to provide his customers with only the finest allergy relief products, the best value and the most responsive customer service; a mission which continues to this day.
